How many weekends have we spent, curled up on our beds, detesting any activity that involves moving our rears? However, last weekend was anything but that. SulaFest 2015, was a perfect amalgamation of music, wine, food and fashion, on February 7 and 8, 2015.
In the vineyards open-air Greek style amphitheatre, Vero Moda launched its Spring Summer 2015 collection. Apart from fashion shows and shopping, the fest witnessed both homegrown and international artists performing for the music enthusiasts.
Line-up included A-listers such as Young The Giant, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Will And The People , Nucleya , Yes Sir Boss, Cuban Beats All Stars, Speed Caravan , Lucky Ali, Swarathma, Bombay, Kefaya, Sandunes, Hamza Feat. Manu Idhra And Rodney Branigan.
The likes of Café Zoe, Woodside Inn, Maroosh and Busago served up great food to go with the wine. At the recently launched Soleil by La Plage, Chef Morgan prepared a menu with organic produce from Sula’s very own farms, which offered a sit-down gourmet dining experience for the first time.
Tent City – where one could camp out amidst the cool vineyards, was double from the year before – and was also a huge hit!
The who’s who attended the fest in great spirits, including Manasi Scott, Sriya Saran, Narendra Kumar, Shazahn Padamsee, Ashish Raheja, Prahlad and Mitali Kakkar, Jenny Rei, Anil Dharker, Arjun Khanna, Aparna Badlani, Yash Birla, Amitabh Nanda, Sameer “Daddy” Malhotra, Malini Aggarwal, Isha Koppikar, Kim Sharma, and Soleil by La Plage’s Florence, Morgan and Serge, to name a few.
