Ace Designer Wendell Rodricks unveiled a series of resort-ready, vibrant ensembles in an assortment titled â?Popologyâ, at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015. Taking cue from pop arts, Wendellâs collection was a burst of effervescent hues, left untamed. The collection brought the nostalgic 60s into focus, with silhouettes reminding us of that era.
The colour palette consisted of turquoise, burnt orange, sunshine yellow, olive green as well as the classic black and white. Lycra bikinis, silk crepe beach shirts, linen capris and silk dresses made for a collection perfect for a summer time vacation.
Show stopper, Waluscha took the spectators by surprise when the lights dimmed to neon blue and she walked out wearing a jet black swimsuit over a wool crépe pleated peplum skirt.
